Obituary for Eloise Katherine Patrick

Eloise Katherine Patrick, age 99, of Portland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2020. She was born on March 12, 1920, the daughter of Anthony and Anna (Fedewa) Pung. Eloise enjoyed cooking, embroidery, playing bingo, and going to the casino. Eloise loved her family dearly and cherished every moment she spent with them.

Preceding Eloise in death are her husband, William; granddaughter, Chris Wilcox; grandson, Mark Strang; great-grandson, Tristen Brown; sons-in-law, Richard Strang, Bernard Goodwin, and David Rector; and siblings, Leon Pung, Louis Pung, Lorena Irrer, and Mary Ann Kolp. Eloise is survived by her adoring children, Joyce Strang of Portland, Janet (Jack) Wilcox of Clarksville, Ann Goodwin of Portland, Katherine Rector of Okemos, Bernadette (George) Wohlheter of Portland, Debra McClung of Grand Rapids, Susan (Ross) Martin of Portland, William (Alice) Patrick of Portland, Jerry (Beverly) Patrick of Portland, Steven (Pam) Patrick of Portland, Michael (Valisa) Patrick of Pewamo, and Thomas and Robert Patrick of Portland; 35 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Mike Alber at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 3:30 p.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E.
