Keri Simon is the proud owner of Styles on the Grand, a hair styling salon serving Portland and its surrounding area.

Everyone who frequents Styles on the Grand is treated like family.

“We have a personal relationship with our clients as well as a professional one,” said Keri.

“Our job allows us to talk about our families with our clients, as well as to talk about other shared experiences. You can’t get that kind of service from most businesses. It’s why we feel that we are special,” she said.

Men and women are welcome at the business.

Keri and her employees specialize in colors, cuts and perms, as well as pedicures and manicures. Keri employs Victoria Davis and Ashley Hinds as well as herself.

“We make the experience as comfortable and as homey as possible,” said Keri. “We are also kid-friendly, meaning that we not only cut kids’ hair, but that our clients are welcome to bring their children with them to appointments,” she said.

Keri grew up in Portland.

“I like Portland,” said Keri. “I feel that it’s a safe environment in which to raise my two boys. Everyone here watches everyone’s back. People get support here that may not be found in another city.”

Styles on the Grand is accepting new clients.

“We help people look their very best,” said Keri. “We give them a look that is unique to them. Everyone wants to feel attractive and we help them to do this. We help them to bring forth their beauty from within as well as from without.”
