Obituary for Mary Jo (Logel) Browers

Mary Jo "Miss Daisy" Browers, age 73, of Portland, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019. She was born February 12, 1946 in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Louis and Marian (Thurber) Logel. Mary graduated from Williamston High School and has been a Property Manager for much of her life. She loved flowers and gardening and was a wonderful baker, with cookies being her specialty. Mary was a devoted foster grandparent through Building Blocks. She treasured her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are children, Michelle Sober, Christopher (Karen Sherwood) Browers, and Brian (Brenda) Browers; beloved "child", her cat, Chowder; grandchildren, Joseph and Shelby Sober, Andrew (Jacqueline Benda) Browers, and Wyatt Browers; siblings, Linda Smith and Doug (Noreen) Logel; special friend, Patrick Lafontsee; and cherished neighbor, Howard Smith.
