Lady Raiders Fall to Williamston 52-42

Despite being tied at the half, the Portland girls basketball team fell to the Hornets of Williamston on the road on Friday night in an early season CAAC match-up.

Sophomore Ava Guilford led the Raiders with 14 points. Sophomore Ashley Bower scored 8 points. Junior Ava Gruber, sophomore Alivia Densmore and sophomore Breckyn Werner each scored 6 points while junior Josie Goodman scored 2 points.

Williamston’s Lewis lead the Hornets with 24 points.
