OAKHILL GUN CLUB OPEN HOUSE/SIGHT IN DAY

Oakhill Gun Club 1900 Pline Rd Lyons Mi, will be hosting an open house/firearm sight in day that is free and open to the public, Sunday November 3rd, 2019 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Oakhill has completed construction of a covered 12 bay rifle line with distances of 100, 200 and 300 yard target capabilities. Most ranges open to the public are restricted to 100 yards or less. We have 8 cement shooting tables to accommodate bench rest shooting systems and 4 bays dedicated to prone, seated and kneeling firing positions.

With the popularity of the newer Bushmaster series of straight walled cartridges, Oakhill’s rifle line is a great opportunity to sight in your rifle at the distances its designed to be accurate out to. With the exception of the .50 centerfire BMG, all hunting rifle calibers can be accommodated along with shotgun and muzzleloader. Pistols chambered in rifle calibers are also welcome.

You will need to bring your own firearm, ammunition, bench rest system (lead sled) eye/hearing protection and target material.

The sight in event is restricted to the new rifle line only for non-members. Unfortunately, in today’s world, each participant will be required to read and sign a standard liability waiver.

Hot dogs, chips and soft drinks will be available for a modest donation.
