Ward's Garage Holding Open House to Celebrate 90th Anniversary

Ward’s Garage is having an Open House following the Sesquicentennial Parade.

Owner Becky Ward told the Beacon, "We’re celebrating our business’ 90th Anniversary along with the City of Portland’s 150th. Our business has been family owned & operated in downtown Portland since 1929. We’re having refreshments, door prizes, & gift bags until they run out. Also, we’re having Powderpuff mechanics demonstrations, going over simple car care & maintenance for women, new young drivers, & men are welcome too. Our honorary guest is Jean (Ward) Barber, Steve’s aunt who grew up at our location, 127 Maple St."
