Grand Hearing Center Opens Doors at New Location

Grand Hearing Center opened its doors in July 2011 to serve the people of Portland and the surrounding communities. Audiologist Douglas Logel, Jr. is a lifelong Portland resident and lives there with his wife and three children. After high school, Doug attended Central Michigan University for his Bachelor’s degree and then Michigan State University for his Master’s degree. After practicing in mid-Michigan for nearly 10 years, Doug decided to open his own practice called Grand Hearing Center. Recently, GHC moved from their original location next to Verizon where they operated for over eight years, across the road to the former Janice Frewen Realty building at 1327 E. Grand River Ave., located between Star Nails and Country Cupboard Floral. Grand Hearing specializes in hearing exams, hearing aid sales and service and hearing conservation products.
