Shamrocks Scheduled Opponent Forfeits Friday 9/13 Game

According to a post on the St. Patrick School Facebook page on Thursday, “Our football game for tomorrow evening has been cancelled. Our scheduled opponent has forfeited their entire season.”

The shamrocks were slated to host Detroit Academy of the Americas. The school is part of the Detroit Public Schools Community District. No additional information about the cancellation of the team’s season was posted on the school or districts website.

The Shamrocks next scheduled game is Friday 9/20 at Webberville. The Spartans of Webberville are 0-2 going into their match up tonight with Big Rapids Crossroads academy who is also 0-2 on the season.
