Parks & Rec Fall Softball Update

The Parks & Rec fall men's softball season kicked off on Tuesday, July 30 with 8 teams in the division and a schedule that runs until the first of October. The top 3 teams from last fall are off to good starts again this fall season. The 2018 fall league champions, Dominic Schneider's Fabiano's River House Grill, are back to defend their title and they took care of business with an 18-7 victory to begin their season. The other top returning teams include Ben Brown's PFCU/CBC and they dispensed of the Ray Fox All Stars while Ward's Garage/ENDVI Auto Body steamrolled Conflux City in their opener. They were joined by Shurway Storage as the 4 teams to begin the season with a 1-0 record.
The second week of action saw Conflux City defeat Shurway Storage for their first victory of the season. Meanwhile, Ward's Garage/ENDVI Auto Body, Fabiano's River House Grill and PFCU/CBC all remained unbeaten as they all boast a record of 2-0.
The Parks & Rec fall coed league play began this past Sunday and only two teams survived the weekend with unbeaten records. Portland Escape Rooms and Portland Products each claimed a pair of victories while PFCU/CBC, Portland Eye Care and Wonder Wand Carwash all earned one victory. The coed league is scheduled to conclude the regular season and crown the league champion on September 8th and then battle it out in the playoffs on September 15th at Powers Park.
