Portland Football Players Take First at Plainwell Lineman Challenge

Members of the Raider varsity and JV football teams traveled to Plainwell High School on Thursday to compete in the Battle of the Bigs, Plainwell’s Lineman Challenge.

Raiders took first in two different divisions, as well as 1st place in several individual categories.

The Varsity Green Division final rankings were: Portland A 1st and overall Green Division champion Lakewood tied for 2nd Portland B tied for 2nd Hopkins 4th Big Rapids 5th Comstock 6th

The JV Silver Division final rankings were: Portland 1st and overall Silver Division champion Constantine 2nd Ravenna 3rd Hopkins 4th Lakewood 5th Homer 6th
