PHS Golf Takes on Lowell in Dual Match

In a non-conference, dual match played at the long yardage Deer Run Golf Course on Friday afternoon, the PHS varsity boy’s golf team fell to a more experienced, Division One Lowell Red Arrow golf team by the score of 169 to 187. Scoring for the Raiders: Zach Pier earn match medalist honors in shooting a two over par 38; Jared Thomas carded a competitive 45; Ethan Getchell shot a 50; Hayden Getchell’s 54 round out the Portland team scoring.

On Tuesday, the Raiders make a return trip to The Emerald Golf Course in St. Johns to compete in the final divisional match of season - The CAAC White Divisional Eighteen-Hole Tournament where team and player points are doubled and the final team and individual standings will be determined and honors awarded.
