Lady Shamrocks sting the Bath Bees

On Monday, May 13th, Bath Bees visited Portland for a match with the Shamrocks. The girls from St. Patrick's played tough gritty softball, and swept the Bees winning the first game 14-8, and the second game 9-6.
Coach Jocelyn Rockey was very proud of her team. "Tonight’s wins were well fought for. The Bath team has some pretty incredible bats at the top of their lineup that gave them a catalyst in both games. Our pitchers (Summer Russman & Carly Scheurer) did an amazing job and split both games which allowed us to mix up our ball movement. Offensively, in game 1- Samee Teachworth and Ally Florian went 4/4 with doubles, triples, and 3 RBIs each. In game 2- Summer Russman and Samee Teachworth went 3/4, Lydia Meredith and Ally Florian also went 2/4. Samee added a HR and that helped us take the lead in game 2."
The Shamrocks visit Fulton on Thursday, May 16th.
