Owen Guilford Signs with Olivet College

Back in March, when he was awarded the Portland Beacon/J-Dubbs Signature Subs Student Athlete of the Month Award, we told you that PHS senior and two-time wrestling state champion Owen Guilford had made his decision to continue his academic pursuits and wrestling career at Olivet College. Last week Guilford made that decision official when he signed his national letter of intent with Olivet.

Located in Olivet, MI, and founded in 1844, Olivet College is a has an enrollment 1,040. The Comets compete in NCAA Division III. The 2018-2019 wrestling team finished fourth in the NCAA III Central Regional and had seven NCWA Scholar All-Americans.
