Obituary for Michael Raymond Holland

Michael Raymond Holland, age 67, of Portland, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019. He was born May 4, 1951 in Hastings, Michigan, the son of Stanley S. and Ilene O. (Cook) Holland. Mike was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed hunting and bowling. He was also a member of Ducks Unlimited. Mike is survived by his son, Russell (Teresa Good) Holland; daughters, Michelle (Mike) Higbee and Tammy Gardner; grandchildren, Ryan (Brandy) Holland, Julie Hengesbach, Mindy (Roger) McAllister, Olivia and Ella Gardner, and Carter and Lincoln Higbee; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul (Barb) Holland and Barbara Ruid; and special friends, Jack and Laurel Manning, Anne Grosshans, and Dennis Goodrow. A Celebration of Life will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the home of Mike and Michelle Higbee, 4160 River Ridge Drive, Lyons, Michigan 48851.
