Shamrocks power through to the Regional Finals

The Lady Shamrocks visited Lansing Christian for a Regional game against the (14-8) Hillsdale Academy Colts on Monday, February 11th. The Shamrocks came to play, and proved their mettle, dominating the Colts 57-23.

Team leaders were myriad, as the Shamrocks put together an exceptional effort both offensively and defensively. Lydia Meredith had a fantastic game, putting in 11 points 6 rebounds 6 steals and 3 assists, and Mara Schrauben had 11 points 5 rebounds 1 steal and 2 blocks, Katelyn Russell had 10 points 4 rebounds 2 steals and 1 assist. Fantastic defensive pressure from Annie Gunderman (4 points 3 rebounds 7 steals and 5 assists) and Irene Mackowiak (2 points 4 steals and 1 assist) also helped hold the Colts high scorer in check.

The Shamrocks play a grudge match against (22-2) Lenawee Christian on Wednesday, February 13th at 7:00 at Lansing Christian for the Regional Finals.
