Twenty-one Portland High School Students, one Portland Middle School student, and nine adult volunteers (teachers and parents) will deliver the Portland High School’s Drama Club’s performance of “Peter and the Star Catcher” to the stage for three performances this week: Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at the Portland High School Auditorium.

Under the guiding hand of Portland High School’s Chandra Polasek, who is a veteran teacher of Communication, Honors English, Théâtre and Theatrical Design the students have worked diligently since December. “Fifteen snow days put extra demands on the cast and crew”, declared Polasek in an interview with the Portland Beacon, “but I am so proud of how hard they worked and put in extra time to catch up. This is going to be a great show”.

Tickets can be purchased in advance on line and will also be available at the door each night of the performance for $5 for students/seniors and $7 for adults. Performances are this week, March 7th, 8th, and 9th. All performances begin at 7:30 P.M.
