Three Raiders Represent Portland at Individual States for Bowling

Three Portland High School bowlers competed in individual states on Saturday at Northway Lanes in Muskegon. Three Raiders began the day with a chance of becoming a state champion.

On the boy’s side, Jack Dalman finished 3rd in the state. For the girls, Emma Armour finished 43rd and Jessie Whitford finished 54th in the state, On Friday, both the Raider boys and girls teams competed for a team state championship. Both teams finished outside the cut. The girls finished 10th and the boys finished 14th.

This completes a very successful season for the Portland High School bowling team who were also the CAAC champions.
