David Yang Named PHS “Raider of the Week”

Portland High School is pleased to announce this week’s recipient of the “Raider of the Week” award:

Name: David Yang

Grade: 12

Parents: Jay Yang and Shu Wang

Activities: David has participated with Raider tennis throughout high school. He is a member of the PHS National Honor Society and volunteers as a tutor. He also has two part-time jobs.

Post-High School Plans: After graduating from high school, David plans to attend the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania to study finance and computer science.

Award: In recognition of being selected as “Raider of the Week” at Portland High School, David is awarded one 9”/1-item pizza from The Pizza Shop courtesy of Dawn and Tom Hodge and will receive a plaque from S&K Trophies courtesy of Lynn and Dan Babbitt.
