Shamrock girls fall to PW

St. Patrick's girls basketball team visited Westphalia on Monday, February 25th for a showdown with the Pirates of Pewamo-Westphalia, after an exciting 1st quarter, the 2nd ranked Pirates were just too much for the Shamrocks and ended up dominating the last 3 quarters winning the game 55-30.

In the 1st quarter, the Shamrocks played good defense and held the undefeated Pirates to only 3 points enroute to winning the quarter 11-3.

After that the Pirates were off to the races, dominating the Shamrocks 52-19 over the final 3 quarters.

Offensive leaders for the Shamrocks were Mara Schrauben with 12 points 4 rebounds 1 steal and 1 block, Lydia Meredith with 9 points 3 rebounds and 1 steal, and Lexi Hass had 3 points 1 rebound and 1 steal.

St. Patrick's next plays on Thursday, February 28th at home.
