Lady Raiders Pick up Narrow Win Over Fowler

The Portland girls’ basketball team hosted the Eagles of Fowler on Tuesday night, and the Lady Raiders finished the game strong to pick up a 53-50 victory.

Freshman Ashley Bower led the Raiders in scoring with 21, followed by sophomore Ava Gruber with 13, and senior Leslie Barker with 11.

The Raiders move to 10-1 overall, and are 6-1 in the CAAC White division. Their next contest is this Friday when they travel to league foe Lansing Catholic.
