The Shamrocks visited Laingsburg on Friday December 7th for a showdown with the Wolfpack. The Laingsburg defense was just too much for the Shamrocks, and the Wolfpack beat the Shamrocks soundly, 54-31.

In the first quarter, neither team could get much offense going, but the Wolfpack was just a bit better winning the quarter 11-7.

The second quarter saw the Shamrocks unable to connect much, and Laingsburg got out ahead winning the quarter 16-4, and taking a 27-11 halftime lead.

The third quarter was a good battle, with the Shamrocks putting up 10 and holding the Wolfpack to 12, but that left Laingsburg up 39-21.

In the fourth quarter the score was 15-10, and the final was 54-31.

Leading scorer for the Shamrocks was Connor Cross with 11, followed by Brandon Scheurer with 10.

"Their defensive pressure was very good, and dictated what we did." Said Coach Mark Scheurer. "We are not able to play winning basketball if we allow that to happen. We'll get better and go from here."
