Saturday, November 24, 2018 is Small Business Saturday® – a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities. Please join the SBA and organizations across the country in supporting your local small business by shopping at a small business.

Why shop at a small business? There are many reasons, but according to American Express (https://about.americanexpress.com/press-release/another-reason-to-shop-small-on-small-business-saturday), one reason is, “Because an average two-thirds of every dollar ($0.67) spent at small businesses in the U.S. stays in the local community, consumers’ local impact during the important holiday shopping season could be significant. Further, every dollar spent at small businesses creates an additional 50 cents in local business activity as a result of employee spending and businesses purchasing local goods and services, according to the Small Business Economic Impact Study from American Express.”

Supporting small business owners is also key to a vibrant community. Many small business owners support local schools and charities with both financial support and countless hours of volunteering.

This Saturday, please consider supporting a local small business.
