Portland and Danby Township officials want to remind the residents of those two townships that the recycling bins will be available on November 24-25, 2018 at Municipal Supply, Industrial Drive, Portland. The bins will be open from 8 am-5 pm on Saturday and from 8 am until they are full on Sunday.

Residents are reminded to break down all cardboard and to flatten milk jugs in order to make as much room in the bins as possible. If you have newspapers, magazines, shredded paper, etc. you are encouraged to drop it off at one of the Paper Gators located at schools and churches around town. The schools/churches earn money from paper collections. If you drop it in the Granger dumpster, the townships pay to have it hauled away.

If the bins are full/closed, DO NOT leave any materials on the ground. Thank you for your cooperation!
