Obituary for Madelon D. (Frost) Waterhouse

Madelon Dorothy Waterhouse, of Lansing, formerly of Portland and Ionia, age 89, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. She was born February 18, 1929, the daughter of Gerald and Helen (Wheeler) Frost. Madelon enjoyed miniatures, including miniature doll houses and furniture. She also loved camping, sewing, going on color tours, and traveling.

Preceding Madelon in death are her husband of 54 years, Wilbur; daughter, Janet Cookman; and son, Michael Waterhouse. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Peaden of Holt; son-in-law, Charles Cookman of Texas; 5 grandchildren, Melisa Bliesener, Patrick Bliesener, Jessica Daoust, Nicholas Cookman, and William Cookman; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Sondra Ward of Saranac.
