Rec Basketball and Volleyball Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for winter leagues organized by the City of Portland Department Parks and Recreation.

For youth basketball, there will be 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th youth leagues. There will be separate divisions for boys and girls, and each participant will receive a jersey. Weekday and Saturday practices will begin in Early December. Weekday practices and Saturday games will begin after winter break. The registration deadline is Friday, November 2nd, and registration is available online at Portland-michigan.org. Late registrations will only be accepted if pace allows. Volunteer parent coaches are needed.

Adult basketball and volleyball leagues will begin league play Sunday, December 2nd. Registration packets for both leagues are available at city hall, or online at Portland-michigan.org. The registration deadline is Friday, November 2nd.
