John Jay Davids Named PHS Raider of the Week

Portland High School is pleased to announce this week’s recipient of the “Raider of the Week” award:

Name: John (Jay) Davids

Grade: 12

Parents: John and Nancy Davids

Activities: Jay has participated with the Raider football team throughout high school and with our track team for two years. He is a member of the PHS National Honor Society and our Captain’s Club. He also has a part-time job at McDonalds.

Post-High School Plans: After graduating from high school, Jay plans to attend college to study engineering.

Award: In recognition of being selected as “Raider of the Week” at Portland High School, Jay is awarded one 9”/1-item pizza from The Pizza Shop courtesy of Dawn and Tom Hodge and will receive a plaque from S&K Trophies courtesy of Lynn and Dan Babbitt.
