Fischer Klein Joins SVSU Cardinal Football Team

Fischer Klein, a 2016 St. Patrick School graduate, has joined the NCAA DII Saginaw Valley State University football team for the 2018 season. Klein, a 6’ 2” junior, will serve on the Cardinal offensive line while he majors in Mechanical Engineering.

He spent the previous two years playing for the Alma College Scots at the NCAA DIII level. In 2017, Klein started all 10 games for the Scots at left tackle.

Klein is currently the Cardinals back-up center and saw some time in the team’s season opener against Alderson Broaddus (WV) according to his father, Denny Klein. The Cardinals defeated Battlers 45-7. Their next game is September 8th when they travel to Walsh University (OH).
