Hannah Schafer Named PHS Raider of the Week

Portland High School is pleased to announce this week’s recipient of the “Raider of the Week” award.

Name: Hannah Schafer

Grade: 12

Parents: Angela and Thomas Shinaver and the late Chuck Schafer

Activities: Hannah has participated with the Raider soccer and golf teams throughout high school and with the bowling team for three years. She is also a member of the PHS National Honor Society, the band, and is this year’s Student Council president. She also participated with dance outside the school for 15 years.

Post High School Plans: After graduating from high school, Hannah plans to attend Grand Valley State University to study history or hospitality.

Award: In recognition of being selected as “Raider of the Week” at Portland High School, Hannah is awarded one 9” one item pizza from The Pizza Shop courtesy of Dawn and Tom Hodge and will receive a plaque from S&K Trophies courtesy of Lynn and Dan Babbitt.
