PHS Volleyball Travels to Olivet

The Portland Raider varsity volleyball team headed to Olivet on Saturday to compete in the Olivet Invitational Tournament.

The Raiders faced a strong Haslett in the first round and earned a split, 16-25 and 25-21.

In the second round, Portland beat Stockbridge 25-12 and 25-15.

The Raiders then split first two with host Olivet in bracket play, pushing the match to a third set, where Portland fell 11-15.

The girls next contest will be Monday, August 27th, when they host Waverly. That contest starts at 5:00 PM.
