City Manager Shares Correspondence with Sunset Ridge Vendor

Portland City Manager S. Tutt Gorman recently shared correspondence between his office and the management of Sunset Ridge mobile home community with The Portland Beacon.

The correspondence is between Gorman and Sun Communities Vice President of Construction Services, Leonard Shember. Portland Township Supervisor Chris Jensen, Chris Brauer and the Michigan DEQ, and Nick Harris of Infrastructure Alternatives were copied on each.

In his email to The Beacon, Gorman said, “I have since met with Infrastructure Alternatives and they are working to provide detail for corrective measures that will eliminate this from happening again. I am continuing to explore this matter and will advise and make recommendations to City Council accordingly.”
