Late Local Businessman’s Collection Estate Goes to Auction Friday and Saturday

The collection estate of the late Welland “Walt” Sprague, founder of Portland Products Inc., will be up for auction on Friday and Saturday.
According to Stanton’s Auctioneers & Realtors, “This auction will be spectacular. The antique and collector cars are rare, wonderful and desirable, the gas and steam engines from full size to scale to models are significant, antique boat motors, antique advertising, popcorn wagons, signage, railroad items, so much more that we have not even touched the surface even though we have taken over 600 pictures.”
The collection will be sold Friday, August 10th and Saturday, August 11th, starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM each day.
