Relay for Life of Ionia County 2018

Kickoffs/20% Fundraiser Nights

Relay for Life of Ionia County will hold two drop-in style kickoff events for community members to learn about how the American Cancer Society helps save more lives from cancer. People can stop by to learn more about Relay and the American Cancer Society, sign up a team, register a survivor, and more. Event Leadership Team members will be on-hand to answer any questions and share information in a very informal, drop-in style setting.

The Kickoffs are also "Give Back Nights," where 20% of sales generated benefit Relay for Life of Ionia County. We are hosting two, making it more convenient for community members across the county:

• The Wagon Wheel, Portland

• Tuesday, May 8

• Drop-In Kickoff from 6-8pm

• 50/50 raffles at 7pm and 8pm

• 20% of sales generated benefits Relay for Life of Ionia County when customer presents a voucher to their server

• Pizza Hut, Ionia

• Thursday, May 10

• Drop-In Kickoff from 6-8pm

• 20% of sales generated benefits Relay for Life of Ionia County when customer presents a voucher to their server

• 11am-10pm (dine-in, delivery, or carryout)

This year, Relay for Life of Ionia County returns to Portland.

• Saturday, July 28, 10am-11pm

• Portland High School track

• Activities include:​

• Bounce House

• Face painting

• Lawn Games

• Silent Auction

• Luminaria Ceremony to remember those we've lost to cancer and honor those who are still fighting

• Themed laps
