Shamrock Girls Win District Crown

The St. Patrick Shamrock girls basketball team defeated Lansing Christian 45-27 on Friday night, to win the District Championship.
Katie Coyne led the Shamrocks with 14 points. Anne Gunderman had seven points, while Mallory Scheurer contributed seven points and six rebounds. Chloe Cross added six points and seven assists.
After the game, Shamrock Coach Al Schrauben said he was, “Glad to be moving on.”
The Shamrocks move their overall record to 16-6.
They will face Adrian Lenawee Christian (21-1) Tuesday at 5:30 at Morrice.
