Raider Girls Finish 13th in State

The Portland High School girls bowling team competed in the state tournament that included 18 teams on Friday. The Raiders finished in 13th place. In this tournament, only the top eight teams move on to bracket play.
Coach William Armour III said, “The girls worked very hard today and the coaching staff and club are very proud of the way they handled themselves, and all the hard work this year. A special thank you to our seniors Ashley Zinn and Ali Schrauben.” Armour added, “The good news is most of our girls come back next year and we should have a very productive season next year.”
