Raider Bowlers Compete at Individual States

Four Raider bowlers competed at the division 4 individual boys states in Muskegon on Saturday. Brothers Jack and Luke Dalman, along with Ashley Zinn and Jordyn Fyan.

In the qualifying round, senior Jack Dalman finished 14th, while sophomore Luke Dalman finished 11th. Both brothers advanced.

In bracket play, Luke lost to Ishpeming’s Hunter Peterson 388-367. Luke would finish in 10th place overall.

Jack defeated Matt Hoard of Ithaca 412-367 in the first round. In the second round he beat Hunter Pearson 458-358.

In the semi-finals, Jack defeated Isaac Solis of Adrian Mason 377-337. In the finals he fell to Javen Howes of Corunna, 429-317. Jack would finish 2nd in the state.

In the qualifier on the girl’s side, senior Ashley Zinn finished 24th, while junior Jordyn Fyan finished 34th in the 60-bowler field. Neither would make the cut to bracket play.
