Coach Mark Scheurer said, “I thought we were especially quick on the defensive end tonight and really never let them get into their offensive sets. We seemed to shrink the floor on them. That is our intention every night but we executed very well tonight. We had strong defense that led us into our offense.”
Brandon Scheurer led the Shamrocks with 27 points, five rebounds and four steals. Nate Leahy had 11 points and five steals. Will Simon played another strong game with three points, eight assists, five steals and four rebounds. Connor Cross added five points.
The Shamrocks overall record moves to 7-12, and 4-11 in the CMAC.
They travel to Fulton (8-10) Tuesday to finish out the regular season. They open district play on Wednesday the 7th against Lansing Christian (12-7).
