Two More Local Athletes Competing at Collegiate Level

Earlier this week, I shared the story of 14 local athletes competing at the collegiate level. That story can be found by clicking HERE.

Within a few days of posting that article, I learned that I had made a huge mistake. I had missed two athletes. While I do extend my heartfelt apologies two these two for the error, I worked as quickly as I could to get the details on Allie Grys and Andrew Click.

Congratulations to you both on your accomplishments on the diamonds so far, and best of luck on your 2018 seasons.

Quote from college coach: GVSU Coach Dana Callihan said, "Allie came to us via Lansing Community College so we haven’t had her as a part of our program as long as some players. However, she came in and made an immediate impact her first year. She has worked hard and has made tremendous improvements over this last year. She will be a crucial part of our pitching staff this year giving us some needed depth."

Quote from student athlete: "My time at GV has been short, but I have loved every minute. I have made lifelong friendships with my teammates and have total respect for my coaches. I wouldn’t want to be a part of any other family. Go Lakers!"
