Shamrock Girls Fall to PW, Beat Dansville

On Thursday, the Saint Patrick girls basketball team faced off against a strong Pewamo-Westphalia team. The Shamrocks lost 53-20.

Mallory Scheurer lead the Shamrocks with seven points, while Lexi Haas had five points.

Coach Al Schrauben said, “PW dominated us with their defense.” The Pirates of P-W remain undefeated on the year. On Saturday, the Shamrocks defeated Dansville 51-13.

Katie Coyne lead the team with 14, while Lainey Schrauben and Samee Teachworth each had eight.

Coach Schrauben said, “We outscored them 22-3 in the second quarter to put the game away.

The Shamrocks overall record for the year moves to eight and six. They will host a five and nine Fowler team on Tuesday night.
