Portland Girls Take Second at Zeeland

The Portland High School girls bowling team finished second out of ten teams at the Zeeland bowling tournament.

Coach Joe Whitford said, “Match play was exciting getting into the championship round. In the championship round Sturgis won the first game. Portland won the second.” Whitford went on to say that overall, “Sturgis won by 5 pins!” The Portland girls are now 6-1 in CAAC league play with three games remaining.
