The Saint Patrick girls basketball team hosted the Cougars of Lenawee Christian on Saturday night.

The game was tied at 36 at the end of regulation, but the Cougars proved too much in OT. The final score was Lenawee Christian 45, St. Patrick 39.

Sophmore Samantha Teachworth led the Shamrocks with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Coach Al Schrauben said that his team, “Played very well defensively but we are turning it over too often and not playing well in the 1st quarter.”

The Cougars move to 12-1 on the year. The Shamrocks fall to seven and five.

The Shamrocks will have their hands full when they travel to Pewamo-Westphalia on Thursday. The Pirates are a perfect 13-0 on the year after defeating Bath 72-17 on Thursday.
