Sam Hodge to Begin Airborne School

Sam Hodge, a 2017 graduate of St. Patrick High School, began his One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, GA, on September 29th. On November 23rd, Sam completed his nine-week Basic Training. On January 19th, Sam celebrated his six-week Advanced Individual Training (AIT) graduation. During AIT, he received extensive training in his chosen career in the Army, which is infantry. Per his father, Randy Hodge, “He now moves on to Airborne school which will take three to four weeks to complete. Sam has an Option 40 contract with the Army. This means upon successful completion of Airborne, he will enter the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program (RASP) which will last another 8 - 10 weeks. Both Airborne and RASP programs are scheduled to take place at Fort Benning, GA.” [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]
