Shamrocks Boys Fall to Bath

The Shamrocks lost another hard-fought battle last night by a score of 59-47.

The Shamrocks held an eight-point half time lead and were tied going into the fourth quarter but were outscored 21 - 8 in the fourth. The Shamrocks were led by Brandon Scheurer who had 17 points and four rebounds. Graham Wohlscheid chipped in 14 points and four rebounds. Sam Mauren added nine points. Will Simon played another strong game with five assists and four rebounds. Nate Leahy led the Shamrocks with seven rebounds and six assists.

Coach Mark Scheurer said, “Our battle was good throughout, we just need to learn how win in the second half. The just need to learn how to get over the hump.”

Score by quarter:

Bath: 17 5 16 21 = 59

Saint Patrick 13 17 8 8 = 46

The Shamrocks return to battle on Wednesday when they take on Laingsburg on the road.

Overall record 4-6. CMAC conference record 1-5.
