Obituary for Judith Lynn Williams
January 28, 1952 - December 29, 2017
Dansville, Michigan "Life brings tears, smiles, and memories. The tears dry, the smile fades, but the memories live on forever." Judith Lynn Williams, 65, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was born January 28, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio to John Wesley and Marion Phyllis (Goins) Terrell. During her high school years, Judy's family moved from southern Ohio to Stockbridge, Michigan where she graduated from high school and met her husband of 45 years, Harold Williams. Judy graduated from nursing school and embarked on a life of helping others. Judy was a caregiver to her core: a devoted nurse, a loving mother and grandmother, and a wonderful cook who always made sure you had seconds… and thirds… and banana splits to finish. Along with spending time playing cards, having fun, and just hanging out with her family, Judy liked visiting casinos and loved the water - whether going to Lake Michigan, traveling to the ocean, or heading up north to the Mackinaw Bridge, she loved to hear the sound of the waves. Judy's life brought so many smiles, and her passing has brought many tears, but the memories of her will last forever. She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Kayla Williams. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Harold Williams; her children, Chad (Lesley) Williams and Lora Williams; her grandchildren, Seth, Collin, Trevor Williams and Kyler Seaman; and her siblings, Cheri (George) Cowan, John (Becki) Terrell, Cindy Terrell, Sue (Nate) Lehman, Jill Ward, and Jeff (Olga) Terrell. A private family memorial will be held. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Kayla Williams Scholarship Fund, 993 Fields Rd., Dansville, MI 48819. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Mason Chapel. Online condolences may be expressed at www.grbdmason.com.
