Obituary for Vincent John Cooper

Vincent J. Cooper, age 20, of Sparta formerly of Portland, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Vince was a graduate of Portland High School Class of 2016. He enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, playing guitar and drums, and riding his quad in his free time. Vince also had a great love for animals, especially his cat, Theodore. Vince is survived by his loving parents, Charles and Amy (Vitins) Cooper; brother, Zachary Cooper; grandmother, Estella Vitins; aunts, Dianne (Joseph) Deren and Julia (Kenneth) Marchek; uncle, Brent (Mary) Cooper; and cousins, Nicole and Emily Marchek. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Janis “John” Vitins and grandparents, Charles and Marion Cooper. Vince had a sweet soul and was a true friend to all, he was always up for an adventure. Visitation will be held for family and friends from 12-2 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. The Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Letisha Bowman on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
