Foster Blue Water Oil Sends Relief to Florida

In an effort to assist with recovery efforts in hurricane effected areas of Florida, Foster Blue Water Oil has sent equipment and men to the effected area.

According to the company’s Assistant Transportation Manager, Jeff Cox, the company sent, “three 4400-gallon fuel tankers, one fueling trailer (7,000-gallon capacity), and one transport (7,000-gallon capacity) loaded with gas and diesel to Florida for hurricane relief efforts in effected areas.” Cox says the trucks left Richmond, MI, at 11:00 AM on September 11th, and do not have an expected return date at this time.

When asked about the equipment, Cox said they were, “Kenworth tanker trucks with pumping capabilities to fill generators, equipment or above/below ground tanks.” Cox added that the company sent “five drivers with diversified backgrounds in fueling all types of equipment,” and that the, “drivers were dispatched to the Tampa Area to meet and coordinate a plan with the dispatcher. They dispatched two drivers to Miami/Jupiter area, two drivers to Ft Myers/Naples area, and one transport to Orlando.”

Foster Blue Water Oil has a local location in Pewamo.
