Frewen Realty to Host “Homes for Dogs Project” on September 9th
In coordination with the Ionia County Animal Shelter, Coldwell Banker Frewen Realty will be hosting a dog adoption and donation event at the Frewen Building, located at 1240 E. Grand River Ave., from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 9th.
According to the corporate web site, “Coldwell Banker founded the Homes for Dogs Project, a partnership with Adopt-a-Pet.com aimed at helping adoptable dogs find loving homes. Together, the pair has helped more than 20,000 dogs find homes and are poised to continue this effort throughout 2017.”
Terry Frewen of Frewen Realty said, “We will have 6-10 dogs and a few cats on site, ready for adoption. If someone is not ready for an adoption, they can donate money by cash or check, or a donation of Science Diet food, dog and cat treats, toys, gently used or new leashes and collars, bandanas, kitty litter, and other pet related items.”
The event will also feature a silent auction with all proceeds going to Ionia County Animal Shelter.
Frewen also said, “The new director at the Ionia County Animal Shelter, Carly Quinn, has been very proactive in supporting this community event, and will be on site on the day of the event.”
