19th Annual Suzanne J. Buche Cancer Awareness Tournament set for Saturday at PHS
Suzanne J. Buche, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, died on Jan. 30, 2005 at the age of 46 after a courageous battle with cancer. Suzie was an active supporter of the PHS athletic programs.
The Suzanne J. Buche Cancer Awareness Tournament came to life in 2005 thanks to Hall of Fame Coach Jack Anderson. In 2019 this event crossed the $100,000 raised milestone. PHS athletics, the coaches, parents, players and community have been absolutely instrumental in the success of this tournament. It would not be possible without them.
The one-day high school softball tournament will have 50/50 drawings and raffle prizes (need not be present to win). All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
