Shamrock Softball Sweeps Potterville

St. Patrick Varsity softball traveled to Potterville Thursday for an inner conference matchup. The Shamrocks swept the Vikings winning both games in a mercy.

Game 1: 17-0

Tori Sandborn led the Shamrocks shoutout by pitching an absolutely solid game contributing 9 strikeouts in 4 innings. Shamrocks played good defense behind Tori and held the shutout.

Offensively, Rylee Scheurer went 1/1 with 3 walks, 1 double and 1 RBI. Addie Scheurer went 3/4 with 1 DBl and 1 RBI. Tori Sandborn went 2/3 with w RBIs. Megan Myers went 3/4 with 3 RBIs. Lily Sandborn went 1/1 with 2 walks and 2 RBIs.

Game 2: 16-1

Tori Sandborn pitched another commanding game and a no hitter on the night. Tori contributed 7 Strikeouts in 3 innings.

Offensively, Rylee Scheurer went 2/3 with 2 RBIs. Marian Davlin went 2/2 with 3 RBIs. Tori Sandborn went 1/1 with 1 RBI and Gracelyn Rockey added 3 RBIs.

Coaching Staff Comments:

It was a fun evening with Tori pitching an absolutely amazing set of games with a no hitter and 16 strikeouts for the evening. Offensively, everyone contributed at the plate and showed control and discipline in their pitch selection. Rylee’s hit in the 3rd inning of the second game was a great way to end the week.
