Red Cross facing National Blood Shortage: Three area blood drives scheduled

The national blood supply has fallen 25% in recent weeks as donor turnout dropped. Right now, blood distributions to hospitals are outpacing the number of blood donations coming in. Blood donors of all blood types are urgently needed now to ensure patients at hospitals across the country continue to receive critical medical care.
