Raider softball results from Okemos and Charlotte

At Okemos - Thursday, May 18th

Game 1: Portland 7, Okemos 5

Bella Spitzley and Lilly Thelen (double) each had two hits for Portland. Autumn Reffitt added a double.

Jayden Townsend picked up the win in the circle striking out four and Sitzley pitched one inning striking out one.

Game 2: Okemos 6, Portland 5

Spitzley pitched the complete game for the Raiders.

Rylee Miller led Portland offensively with three hits including a double. Reffitt had a double.

At Charlotte - Saturday, May 20th

Game 1: Portland 11, Charlotte 0

Townsend got the win on the mound striking out two and only allowing one Charlotte runner on base in the five-inning run limit win.

Townsend and Spitzley each doubled for Portland in the game.

Game 2: Portland 15, Charlotte 0

Spitzley got the win on the mound striking out four and only allowing one Oriole runner on base in the three-inning run limit win.

Baylee Fish and Miller each had doubles for Portland.

The Raiders are now 17 and 12 on the season. Next week they host Grand Ledge on Tuesday, and the Buche Memorial tournament on Saturday. They begin district play at Lakewood the following Saturday.
